Six Ireland Travel Videos to Inspire your Trip

March 17, 2017 | Leave a Comment

I’m not sure if it is because it’s St. Patrick’s Day or because I just finished watching all of these Ireland travel videos but I have a severe case of Ireland wanderlust today. The only way I know how to cure it is to dive deep into planning a trip (ok so it doesn’t exactly cure it but it helps a little).  So that’s what I am doing today. How are you celebrating St. Paddy’s Day? Whatever you do, I hope it creates a little wanderlust in you. :-)

Sonder Ireland:

This 9 minute video is one of my favorites. Hear straight from the Irish why Ireland is so special. Makes you want to experience even the tiniest slice of Irish life.

A Fortnight Plus Half:

A viral video from a few years ago by two Canadians that had clearly had a good time in Ireland (I wonder if they need another travel buddy?).

Climbing Brandon:

It’s no secret Joe and I like our walks in Ireland. And this one, this one, is our favorite. Every time I watch this video I get the itch to put on my hiking shoes.

7 Days in Mayo:

The only thing I think of when I watch this video is why in the world haven’t I spent more time in County Mayo? We’ve loved our time at Achill and Westport, but clearly there is much more to see here. I think I added six new things on my list just from watching this one.

Murmuration:

Another oldie but a goodie. No words except, beautiful. Watch this.

Packing for the Island of Ireland:

I’ll end with something practical to get you started (I still love my packing list, but these are good tips).

I just finished watching all of these Ireland travel videos but I have a severe case of Ireland wanderlust today. The only way I know how to cure it is to dive deep into planning a trip. Click here to watch the videos and be consumed by wonderlust.
